Sustainability Management Course
All Contractors and Employees must follow sustainability guidelines when harvesting all species of fungi. Below are some critical steps to ensure the fungi species regenerate and the forest remains undisturbed.
Category One: Perennial Fungi
- Chaga (Innonotus obliquus)
- Artist Conk (Ganoderma applanatum)
- Willow Bracket (Phellinus igniarius)
- Hoof Conk (Fomes-fomentarius)
- Red-belted Polypore (Fomitopsis pinicola)
Perennials must always only be harvested to a maximum of 80%, leaving at least 20% on the tree at all times.
